For Hudson County, as an urban area, it is especially important to cherish parks and recreational areas. The Open Space Trust Fund will help to preserve existing parks, environmentally protected areas and historic sites as well as provide the means to enlarge and improve these facilities. The Hudson County Green Party endorses the Open Space Trust Fund and urges a "yes" vote on Question 4.

Green Party candidates believe that the needs of our community are most important and big business should not be allowed to harm our environment or our lifestyles. The Green Party advocates a people's platform - a clean, safe environment, health care for all, affordable housing, quality public education, fair labor practices, a peace-oriented budget and true representation in the state and federal capitols. Vote for Eric Olsen - state Senate, 31st District, John Oriole - Assembly, 31st District, Pam Olsen - Assembly, 31st District, and Maria Rios - Assembly, 33rd District. This November vote for a candidate who is genuinely interested in your needs.
